Simply Lovely

Our Christmas has been really simple. Mostly we have eaten, walked a little, chatted, laughed and ate. Some of us have nursed temperatures and runny noses but the rest is doing us good and we are on the mend.
The food has been simple too - nothing too rich but of yummy all the same.
I have loved these days where we have done nothing more complex than to talk and laugh together. It is the essence of Christmas don't you think?

  4. Yes, I agree - i love the way things slow down between Christmas and New Year. No clock watching. Your Christmas does sound very nice - sorry to hear about the illness - why do viruses always strike at Christmas time?? xx
