that was the year that was - 2012

A year in pictures - it flew by.

January - fir cones gathered to light the wood burner.
February - den building in a chilly half term.
March - an early sunny morning on my street.
April - primroses and their declaration of spring.
May - the Olympic torch comes to Worcester.
June - in Cornwall, Daymer Bay laying on some rare sunshine!
July - the start of the summer holidays and blue skies.
August - Ireland. Beautiful, beautiful Ireland.
September - the glamorous wedding of two wonderful friends.
October - getting ready for Halloween
November - knitting for the first time in ages and getting cosy.
December - Christmas light.

If I'm honest this has been a mixed year for me. I am so, so lucky in my life; looking back like this makes this obvious. In this time between Christmas and New Year I have been reflecting on this and thinking about the year ahead. Time for some resolutions.

  2. Happy New Year Karen. What a lovely selection of photos. Can I ask which bit of Worcester the torch picture is of?

  4. I enjoyed looking back over your photos of 2012. I had great fun going through mine. It's nice to reflect, especially when it makes us realise how much good stuff there had been.
