'Twas the night before Christmas

Finally there seems to be no more to be done. This has felt my most unprepared for Christmas ever. Over the past three months work has taken over my life. This is not a good thing and something I am going to be thinking through this holiday. Anyway as a result of all this work Mark has bought most of the presents, the food is not quite as planned and my home made gifts did not happen. For a control freak this is hard to cope with.
BUT, but but but there are gifts under the tree, there is beautiful food in the kitchen, the children are happy, Mark is happy and we have lovely gifts for others. Time to relax and let go...

I will post again in a few days, time now to focus on what is really important; my family. Wishing you all a truly wonderful and peaceful holiday..

  6. A very happy Christmas to you too Karen. You'd never know from the photos of your house that you've been manically busy - it looks so stylish and welcoming.

Enjoy this time with your lovely family.
