It has been a lovely weekend. The sun has shone and today there was a real warmth in the air. Spring creeps ever closer.
Inside the house there was some clearing up and a continued sorting (and a wee bit of dumping) of C.D.s. The simplifying is ongoing...
I also arranged some things on the mantle (again). Some brighter, springier colours seemed right.
Some sitting in front of the wood burner doing a bit of crochet.
Ironing in front of the tennis.
Baking. Lemon Drizzle, a family favourite. One is for Myles to take into school tomorrow. He made the cakes and is getting to be quite the expert.
This is a big week for us. Myles turns 18. I am feeling nostalgic. More in the week.

It sounds like such a lovely weekend, so nice to have a relaxing one, Lemon Drizzle, mmmmmmm xx
ReplyDeleteLemon drizzle is one of my favourite cakes and Myles' cakes look splendid.
