In these cold February days I am dreaming of the warmth. This year for the first time in several years we are thinking of going back to France for our summer holiday. I love Britain and we have had our holidays here or in Ireland for the past four or five years. These holidays have been wonderful and the places we have been are beautiful but folks I need heat this year and I am prepared to travel to get it. France is a place we love and I am looking forward to a revisit.

I love that jumper! Where abouts in France do you fancy? I really like the French lifestyle and of course the food and fashion.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't quite decided yet but I quite fancy the Loire valley as it would be close enough to do a day trip into Paris too. I haven't been to Paris for years and really want to go again.
DeleteI love heat too but would prefer the gentler temperatures of June and September to the harsher ones of July and August, which is when we have to take our summer holidays. So we're heading to the Western Isle this year where we can expect just about anything - and maybe even on the same day!
ReplyDeleteMy family will tell you, I think the most beautiful place on Earth is the Scottish Highlands, but even die-hard UK camper that I am, this year I too am craving heat. If we could find someone daft enough to look after the mad dog, I'd book it today. Please let it be warm soon...
ReplyDeleteLove the black and white top (get it even for when you are miles away from the French Riviera)!! Last year we visited Montpellier for a short while and I loved it, it is like a very mini version of Paris and it is close enough to the sea! /maria x
